Turn your Truist export into a file Xero will import: Date, Amount, Payee, Description, Reference (with the asterisks Xero uses for required columns).
Your file never leaves your computer. Everything runs in this page. No upload, no account, no server.

This is the only public source I could reach for Truist. It does not state the date format or whether money out is negative, so check the preview: the sample uses made-up rows with month-first dates and negative money out, and the tool asks about dates when a file is ambiguous. Verify against your own file, and use "Flip signs" if your amounts come out reversed. Not affiliated with Truist.
Dates in the converted file: DD/MM/YYYY by default (UK, Australia, New Zealand order). If your Xero organisation uses US dates, choose "Xero, US date order" in the Import into list and you get MM/DD/YYYY.
Sources: ProperSoft Xero CSV import guide (third party), invoicedataextraction.com Xero import guide (third party). Xero's own help pages could not be reached, so these steps come from two third-party guides. One of them says date order is the most common cause of Xero import errors and lists US dates as MM/DD/YYYY and UK/AU/NZ dates as DD/MM/YYYY. Check against Xero Central if a step looks different on your account. Not affiliated with Xero.
Which date order should I choose? The one your Xero organisation uses. The default is day-first. US-region organisations should pick the US option in the Import into list.
Does the converted file have currency symbols? No. Amounts are plain numbers with two decimals, no symbols and no thousand separators.
The "try a sample" link above loads made-up rows in the Truist layout.

No. The converter is JavaScript running in your browser tab. You can disconnect from the internet after the page loads and it still works.
Any bank that exports CSV. Dates, delimiters (comma, semicolon, tab), European number formats, separate debit/credit columns, headerless files and extra summary rows are handled, and you can override the column mapping.
If every date could be day-first or month-first, the tool warns you and lets you pick the order before downloading.
